FAQ

Common questions

When should I start succession planning?

Ideally five to ten years before you expect to step back. The earlier the plan, the more options there are to reduce tax.

Do trusts file in Quebec too?

Yes. Trusts resident in Quebec generally file a TP-646 with Revenu Québec as well as the federal T3.
