Common questions
Why does Quebec need separate returns?
Quebec collects its own corporate and personal income tax. Quebec corporations file a CO-17 with Revenu Québec as well as the federal T2, and individuals file a TP-1 alongside the federal T1. We prepare both together.
When is my corporate return due?
Six months after your fiscal year-end. However, any balance owing is generally due two or three months after year-end. We put every federal and Quebec date in your calendar from the start.
Can you take over from my current accountant?
Yes. We request the prior-year files and handle the hand-over.
